Havana Nights

Join us on a journey that evokes the spirit of Havana in all her remembered glory. Close your eyes for a second in modern Miami’s Little Havana and you can almost be transported back to the Tropicana and the Flamingo, back to the Riviera and the Floridita. The sensuous, rum-rich rhythms of the Mambo spilling out into the balmy tropical night are real…and tonight you are going to experience them. Tonight the lively streetscape of Calle Ocho, Little Havana’s main thoroughfare, will be yours to explore. Take in the smells, sights, sounds and colors of a street that launched the dramatic transformation of Miami over four decades ago and prepare yourself for an evening of discovery, dining and live nightclub entertainment.

Watch as skillful hands demonstrate the art of cigar rolling, a worldwide recognized symbol of all things Cuban. Take in the rich aroma of freshly processed tobacco and maybe even buy some cigars for the road.

Now is a great time to pick up a few dancing pointers on the various forms of Latin dancing. One of Gloria Estefan’s backup dancers will instruct the willing on how to make the right moves when the music takes over later tonight.

Dinner on Calle Ocho is always a culinary delight. We have several incredible options from which to choose based on the optimal dining atmosphere for your group.

After dinner, we enter the realm of live brass, pulsating rhythms, and sheer musical excitement at “Hoy Como Ayer,” a nightclub that calls on the atmosphere and attitude of yesteryear’s Cuba to offer you an insider’s look at the ever-evolving music scene of Miami. Blending the traditional rhythms of Salsa and Son with the talent of young Cuban-American artists, this is a musical experience you will never forget. The night awaits you… let’s get going.
